Interior inspection of the 600MW Supercritical Power Boiler for Fujian Houshi Power Plant

It was a supercritical direct current power boiler manufactured by a well-known Japanese company (maximum successive evaporative volume 1950t/h, release valve pressure 25.9Mpa, temperature 542??), with rather complicated style, and new high-temperature material such as T91, P91 used. Depending on rich experience and advanced instruments, CSEI detected some fatal potential defects, gained a high evaluation and praise from the owner and manufacturer. This was the first time that such a systematic inspection to a supercritical direct current power boiler of this class was conducted in China. |

Arbitritiary inspection of 410t/h power plant boiler for Qilu Petro-Chemical Company

Originally, this power boiler was oil-fired before being converted to coal-fired. Because of rather poor quality of alteration and serious corrosion by exposure to air for 6 years, CSEI was entrusted to conduct a comprehensive inspection to the boiler. Special attention was paid to analyzing the patched area of welding. The inspection report confirmed that there was an overall serious corrosion of the drum shell, and in some areas, the thickness of the shell was lower than the design specifications, thereby deteriorating the life expectancy and safety. This inspection played an important role in the smooth start-up of a 300 thousand tons per year ethylene project at Qilu Petrochemical Company. |

Power plant boiler inspection for Guangdong Maoming Petrochemical Ethylene Industry Company (1998~ )
Upon owner's request, CSEI conducted comprehensive in-service interior inspection to several 220t/h high-pressure oil-fueled power boilers of Guangdong Maoming Petrochemical Ethylene Industry Company. After discovering existing and potential defects, CSEI offered the owner an analysis as to the cause of the defects, and suggestions to the disposal of the defective boiler, successfully completed the assigned task, avoided possible accidents and loss. |
