| Center of Boiler, Pressure Vessel and Special Equipment Accidents Investigation of AQSIQ, (Center of Accidents Investigation), takes the responsibility of accidents statistics analysis and investigation authorized by the State Council to AQSIQ, and provides decision-making data for the administration authority of this industry.
Functions under the lead of BPA/AQSIQ, with national experts as the technical backbone, supported by the quality and technical supervision authorities of different levels, Center of Accidents Investigation is becoming the database of accidents of boiler, pressure vessel, pressure piping and special equipment in China.
Responsibilities:
Organize and perform investigations to catastrophic accidents in the fields it covers
Supervise accident investigation and disposal
Accident statistics and analysis
Accident information collection
Research and bring forward accident-prevention measures
Participate in the drafting of rules and regulations about accident investigation and disposal.
